Ayiti: The cost of living

1) How is Ayiti different from 3rd World Farmer?

Ans:I believe Ayiti is different from third world farmer, because third world farmer's graphics are wack compared to Ayiti's, and in third world farmer you can buy animals but in Ayiti you cant, also in Ayiti the people get sick n also in ayiti there are four years then the game is done but in third world farmer there is a unlimited time you can play as long as all your people dont die.

2) What strategies did you use? For example, did you combine work and school, or did you send everyone to work? Which worked? Which did not?

I combined work and school and got to the third year then the adults became to depressed to work so i bought them so neww things then everything started to fall apart because i used alll my money, then they started getting sick and dyingg n i couldnt do any thing because they had no money. So thats how i played Ayiti.

3) Why would parents choose to devote so much effort to sending their children to school? What obstacles did you face in trying to keep them in school?

I think the parent would make a effort to send their children to school so that their children would have a better life then they do.So they work in tough conditions mining and rum distling and more hard working jobs for little money in return.

-At home because it should be a place for feeling safe.

-On social networking sites at times because some people want there conversations private.

Made In L.A. Part2

1. Who does Forever 21 blame for the sweatshops? Why?

They blame the contractors because they made the sweat shops.

2. What’s wrong with Forever 21′s argument?

They gave the contractor to little money so the didn't have enough to spread around to the workers.

3. Why do the workers continue to protest even if it means they might lose their jobs?

I think because they were tired of working in bad conditions so they don't care.

Made In L.A. Part 1

1. How is the life of sweatshop workers in L.A. the same as those in Indonesia? How is it different?

Ans: It is pretty much the same but they live in better house but sometimes they have to work at hoe all night and barely get paid 2.00 $.

2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don’t they work as lawyers or doctors or at Mcdonalds?

Ans: i think they not allowed to so that is the only thing that have to turn to.

3. I think the workers are still going to be ignored even though their protesting so I think this movie is going to change anything.

Were My Sneakers Come From

1. What does it mean to “make a decent living”? What should you be able to buy?

Ans: I think it means you have enough to get by but a little extra money on the side.

2. Where do your sneakers come from? Who makes them?

I think my sneakers come from sweat shops but the company is footlocker i always go there to get to get my sneakers.

3. What is a sweatshop (take a guess, even if you have no idea)?

It is a place were people work there butts off and only get cents for hours of work.
